Woke up late... at 4am for my 7am flight. I said goodbye to my little kitties before I left and went for my last drive to the airport for the next 3 months. At the airport, the process was quick. I checked in my bags, met up with the other two and walked to international departures. I wanted to spend more time with my family before we went to the gate lounge, but the other two rushed to get through security. I gave my mum and dad a final hug. It was both emotional yet exciting. I thought I was going to cry when I hugged them both as I saw the sadness in my mothers face, but the excitement overcame and I was ready to go.
There was a 10 minute delay boarding the aircraft. Then another delay once we boarded the aircraft. 10 minutes ended up being half an hour. We were finally on our way for our short 3 hour trip to Sydney. We had even more delays landing as we were not scheduled to land at that time. Once we landed, we had to run for ours lives to get through security. Our layover was suppose to be 1.5 hrs long but with the amount of delays we had, they were announcing final boarding call as we were going through. We just made it with seconds to spare. Another 10 hour flight was before us.
We finally landed in the Hong Kong! We got our bags and headed off to our hotel we were staying at for the night. Just as we settled in, both Frankie & Georgia were on their way from Auckland, New Zealand. It's a goodnight from me. See you tomorrow!
